RISK MANAGEMENT

 

The Sailability organisation, the Sailability Shorncliffe leadership team and all volunteers are committed to ensuring Sailability Shorncliffe operates to the highest safety standards.

Our risk management plan, developed over a number of years, reflects our commitment to safety and the ongoing viability of the club. It captures input from volunteers and support workers, and others including experienced sailors, emergency personnel, QCYC representatives, Sailability Queensland and other Sailability clubs. Risks are assessed against Australian Sailing’s Risk Matrix and subject to ongoing review. Regular training and maintenance days test and refine our procedures to ensure appropriateness and enable competence across the team.
